लोकथर्मे च धर्मे च विशेषकरणं कृतम् । यथैकत्वं पुनर्यान्ति प्राणिनस्तत्र विस्तर:
lokadharme ca dharme ca viśeṣakaraṇaṃ kṛtam | yathaikatvaṃ punaryānti prāṇinastatra vistaraḥ ||
ビーシュマは言った。世俗の義務と聖なる義務とのあいだには区別が定められている。その理由はこうである。生きとし生けるものは、それぞれの務めを守り行うことによって、再び一つへと帰し得る。これについて聖典は詳しく説いている。
