रौद्ररूपोंडशुरादित्यो बहुरश्मि: सुवर्चसी । वसुवेगो महावेगो मनोवेगो निशाचर:
raudrarūpo 'ṃśur ādityo bahuraśmiḥ suvarcasī | vasuvego mahāvego manovego niśācaraḥ ||
風神ヴァーユは言った。「彼は猛々しく畏怖を呼ぶ姿を取り、輝く一条の光であり、アーディティヤ（太陽）として無数の光線を帯び、壮麗な光輝に満ちる。その速さは風のごとく—いや風をも超え—心のごとく迅く、夜に行動する。」
