व्युष्टि ब्राह्मणपूजायां रौक्मिणेय निबोध मे । एते हि सोमराजान ईश्वरा: सुखदुःखयो:
vyuṣṭi brāhmaṇapūjāyāṃ raukmiṇeya nibodha me | ete hi somarājāna īśvarāḥ sukhaduḥkhayoḥ ||
ヴァーユは言った。「ルクミニーの子よ、婆羅門を敬うにあたり守るべき正しい次第と規範を、わたしから学べ。彼ら――聖なる知の主たる婆羅門――はまことにソーマの王たるがごとく、安楽と苦悩の生起を司る力を握っている。」
