इत्युक्तो5हं शरीरं स्वं ददर्श श्रीसमायुतम्‌ । 'परंतु यह खीर तुमने अपने पैरोंके तलवोंमें नहीं लगायी है। बेटा! तुमने ऐसा क्‍यों किया? तुम्हारा यह कार्य मुझे प्रिय नहीं लगा।” इस प्रकार जब उन्होंने मुझसे प्रसन्नतापूर्वक कहा

ity ukto ’haṁ śarīraṁ svaṁ dadarśa śrī-samāyutam |

風神ヴァーユは言った。「かく告げられるや、我は自らの身が吉祥の光輝に満ちているのを見た。」 文脈において語り手は、供えられた乳粥(kṣīra)を足の裏にまで塗らなかったため、やさしく諭されたことを回想する。その喜びを含んだ戒めは教訓となる――命じられた作法は半ばでなく、心を尽くして全うすべきであり、そうしてこそ内外の錬磨が現れる。その象徴が、身に忽ち宿った光である。
