परम यो महत्तेज: परम॑ यो महत्तप: । परम॑ं यो महदब्रह्म परमं यः परायणम्‌

Transliteration

parama yo mahāttejaḥ paramaṁ yo mahātapaḥ | paramaṁ yo mahad brahma paramaṁ yaḥ parāyaṇam ||

Translation

ビーシュマは言った。「彼は至上である――テージャス（光輝の威力）において至上、タパス（苦行・自制）において至上。彼こそ最上、広大なるブラフマンそのものであり、究極の帰依処にして最後の到達点である。」
