एष मे सर्वधर्माणां धर्मोडधिकतमो मत: । यद्धवत्या पुण्डरीकाक्षं स्तवैरचेंन्नर: सदा

Transliteration

eṣa me sarva-dharmāṇāṃ dharmo ’dhikatamo mataḥ | yad bhaktyā puṇḍarīkākṣaṃ stavair arcennaraḥ sadā ||

Translation

ビーシュマは言った。「あらゆるダルマのうち、私の見解ではこれこそ最上である。すなわち、人は蓮華の眼をもつ主（ヴァースデーヴァ）を、信愛をもって常に礼拝し、讃歌と徳の称揚によって敬い奉るべきである。」
