स्वयम्भू: शम्भुरादित्य: पुष्कराक्षो महास्वन: । अनादिनिधनो धाता विधाता धातुरुत्तम:

svayambhūḥ śambhur ādityaḥ puṣkarākṣo mahāsvanaḥ | anādinidhano dhātā vidhātā dhātur uttamaḥ ||

ビーシュマは言った。「彼はスヴァヤンブー(Svayambhū)、自ら生ずる者。彼はシャンブー(Śambhu)、信徒に安寧を授ける者。彼はアーディティヤ(Āditya)、輝ける太陽の力。彼はプシュカラークシャ(Puṣkarākṣa)、蓮華の眼を持つ者。彼はマハースヴァナ(Mahāsvana)、その大いなる響きがヴェーダそのものである。彼は無始無終。彼はダーター(Dhātā)、世界を支える者。彼はヴィダーター(Vidhātā)、行為とその果を配する者。彼はダートゥル・ウッタマ(Dhātur-uttama)、因果の全き網を支える至上の支柱である。」
