पूतात्मा परमात्मा च मुक्तानां परमा गति: । अव्यय: पुरुष: साक्षी क्षेत्रज्ञो5क्षर एव च
pūtātmā paramātmā ca muktānāṁ paramā gatiḥ | avyayaḥ puruṣaḥ sākṣī kṣetrajño 'kṣara eva ca ||
ビーシュマは言った。「彼は清浄なる自己であり、また至上の自己（パラマートマン）である。解脱した者にとって、彼こそ最高の到達点。彼は不滅—身体に宿るプルシャ（Puruṣa）—常に証人として万事を見通す。彼は『場』（身体と自然）を知る者（クシェートラジュニャ）であり、まさしく衰えぬアクシャラ（Akṣara）である。」
