Adhyāya 152 — Bhīṣma’s Authorization for Yudhiṣṭhira’s Return to the Capital (नगरप्रवेशानुज्ञा)
अन्यथा बहुबुद्धयाढ्यो वाक््यं वदति संसदि । अन्यथैव हाहंवादी दुर्बलं वदते वच:
anyathā bahubuddhyāḍhyo vākyaṃ vadati saṃsadi | anyathaiva hāhaṃvādī durbalaṃ vadate vacaḥ ||
マヘーシュヴァラは言った。「理解に富む者は、集会において一つの作法で語る—節度があり、分別があり、時宜にかなう。だが自己を誇示する豪語の者はまったく別で、弱く頼りない言葉を吐く。知と実際の見分けを備え、取捨を量ることに長け、諸々の有能な語り手に疑いを問う者は、苦境に陥らない。」
