दत्त्वा तु सततं ते5स्तु कौरवाणां धुरन्धर | दानयज्ञक्रियायुक्ता बुद्धिर्धमोपचायिनी,कौरवधुरंधर! तुम भी सदा दान करते रहो। तुम्हारी बुद्धि दान और यज्ञकी क्रियामें संलग्न हो धर्मकी उन्नति करती रहे
dattvā tu satataṃ te 'stu kauravāṇāṃ dhurandhara | dānayajñakriyāyuktā buddhir dharmopacāyinī ||
ビーシュマは言った。「おお、カウラヴァ族の重荷を担う最勝の者よ、汝が絶えず施しをなす者であれ。汝の知性が布施と祭祀（ヤジュニャ）の行に常に携わり、ダルマの増長を永く促すように。」
