Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
अर्थात् प्रियतरत्वं च सर्वलोकेषु वै तदा । प्राप्तवानेव राजेन्द्र सुवर्णक्षान्महेश्वरात्
arthāt priyataratvaṃ ca sarvalokeṣu vai tadā | prāptavāneva rājendra suvarṇakṣān maheśvarāt, bharatanandana |
ビーシュマは語った。「かくして、王よ、その時彼は諸世界において最も愛される境地を得た—まるでマヘーシュヴァラ自らから授かったかのように。バーラタの喜びよ、昔、クリシュナはバダリカーシュラマにてマハーデーヴァを歓喜させ、天眼を具えた偉大なる主より、あらゆる成就を超える“愛される徳”を受けたという。ゆえに彼は、あらゆる界において衆生の最愛となったのだ。」
