पितरस्तेन गच्छन्ति सोमलोकमसंशयम् | जो नदी या तालाबके तटसे अपने सींगोंद्वारा कीचड़ उछालकर खड़ा होता है, उससे वृषोत्सर्ग करनेवालेके पितर निस्संदेह चन्द्रलोकमें जाते हैं
pitaraḥ tena gacchanti somalokam asaṁśayam |
シャクラは言った。「その行いによって、祖霊（ピトリ）は疑いなくソーマの世界へ赴く。」文脈においてこの偈は、牡牛放施（ヴリショーツァルガ）の功徳を讃える。たとえ川や池の岸辺に立ち、角で泥を跳ね上げるような牡牛であっても、それを放つ者の祖霊は疑いなく月界へ至るのである。
