अग्निकार्येषु वै तेषां हव्यं नाश्नाति पावक: । जो प्रज्वलित यज्ञाग्निमें समिधाकी आहुति नहीं देते
agnikāryeṣu vai teṣāṃ havyaṃ nāśnāti pāvakaḥ |
シャクラは言った。「聖なる火に関わる正しい作法を怠る者には、アグニは供物を受け取らない。ゆえに供養は法にかなって行うべきである。すなわち祭火を点じて保ち、薪（サミダー）と供物を定めのとおりに捧げねばならぬ。さもなくば、その祭祀は徳にも霊験にも力を持たない。」
