Inquiry into the Discipline of Fasting
न गुरावकृतप्रज्ञे शक््यं शिष्येण वर्तितुम् । गुरोहिं दीर्घदर्शित्वं यत् तच्छिष्यस्य भारत
bhīṣma uvāca | na gurāv akṛtaprajñe śakyaṃ śiṣyeṇa vartitum | guroḥ hi dīrghadarśitvaṃ yat tac chiṣyasya bhārata |
ビーシュマは言った。「判断の熟していない師の規律のもとに、弟子は正しく留まることはできぬ。バーラタよ、師に備わる遠見の徳は、そのまま弟子にも映る—長者が真に先を見通すなら、若者もまた先を見通すようになる。」
