Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | jyeṣṭhavat tāta vartasva jyeṣṭho 'si satataṁ bhavān | guror garīyasī vṛttir yā ca śiṣyasya tathā bhārata ||

Translation

ビーシュマは言った。「我が子よ、長子にふさわしく振る舞いなさい。汝は兄弟の中で常に年長者である。師が弟子に対して威厳と重みを保ち、守り導くように、汝もまた兄弟たちにそのように接するのだ、バーラタよ。」
