King Duḥṣanta’s Entry into the Forest Hunt
सूर्याच्च कुन्तिकन्याया जज्ञे कर्णो महाबल: । सहजं कवचं बिश्रत् कुण्डलो द्योतितानन:
sūryācca kuntikanyāyā jajñe karṇo mahābalaḥ | sahajaṃ kavacaṃ bibhrat kuṇḍalo dyotitānanaḥ ||
ダーシャは語った。太陽神と処女クンティーより、剛力のカルナが生まれた。彼は生まれながらに天然の甲冑を帯び、また同時に生じた耳環の光により、その面は輝いていた—まさに誕生の時より神の加護を示す徴であった。
