Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

dharmarāje hṛtiprītyā pūrṇacandra ivāmale |

prājānāṃ remire tulyaṃ netrāṇi hṛdayāni ca ||

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。ダルマラージャ（ユディシュティラ）への胸奥からの敬愛ゆえに—汚れなき満月のように清らかで人を喜ばせるその王を—人々はひとたび拝すると、眼も心も同時に歓びに満たされた。王のただ在ることが、作為なき共通の幸福をもたらし、まるでダルマそのものが王として姿を現したかのようであった。
