सम्पूर्णकोशा: किल मे मातर: पितरस्तथा । भयात् सर्वेषु लोकेषु नाधिजग्मु: परायणम्
Ūrva uvāca | sampūrṇakośāḥ kila me mātaraḥ pitaras tathā | bhayāt sarveṣu lokeṣu nādhijagmuḥ parāyaṇam | tataḥ vasiṣṭhādayaḥ sarve munayas tatra menire | tejasā dīpyamānaṃ vai dvitīyam iva bhāskaram |
アウルヴァは言った。「わが母たち――胎内を満たしていた者たち――も、わが父たちもまた、恐れに駆られてあらゆる世界をさまよい歩いたが、どこにも庇護を得られなかった。そのとき、ヴァシシュタをはじめとするそこに居合わせたすべての聖仙は、霊威の光に燃え立つあの輝ける仙人を、まるで第二の太陽のように見たのだ。」
