Cause of Kalmāṣapāda’s Niyoga under a Curse
ततस्तस्याज्ञया राज्ञो विप्रतस्थे महद् बलम् | स तु राजा गिरिप्रस्थे तस्मिन् पुनरुपाविशत्,महाराजकी आज्ञासे तुरंत वह विशाल सेना राजधानीकी ओर चल दी; परंतु वे राजा संवरण फिर उसी पर्वत-शिखरपर जा बैठे
tatastasyājñayā rājño vipratasthe mahad balam | sa tu rājā giriprasthe tasmin punar upāviśat ||
ついで王の命により大軍はただちに出立した。だがサンヴァラナ王自身は、ギリプラスタの同じ山頂へ再び戻り、そこに座して都の喧騒から身を退いた。外に示す権勢と、内に固める決意との間で揺れる心がうかがえる。
