Cause of Kalmāṣapāda’s Niyoga under a Curse
ततः प्रत्यागतप्राणस्तद् बल॑ बलवान् नृपः । सर्व विसर्जयामास तमेकं॑ सचिवं विना,उससे राजाको चेत हो आया। बलवान नरेशने एकमात्र अपने मन्त्रीके सिवा सारी सेनाको लौटा दिया
tataḥ pratyāgataprāṇas tad balaṁ balavān nṛpaḥ | sarvaṁ visarjayāmāsa tam ekaṁ sacivaṁ vinā ||
やがて王は息を吹き返し、心も整った。剛なる王は全軍を退かせ、ただ一人の大臣だけを伴に残した。これは、力の誇示から身を引き、節度と諫言に導かれた行動へと移ろうとする意志を示している。
गन्धर्व उवाच
Power is best governed by restraint and wise counsel: even a strong ruler may deliberately reduce outward force and act with a small, trusted advisory presence rather than relying on mass might.
After recovering his senses and strength, the king dismisses the entire troop/force and remains only with one minister, indicating a transition from a larger mobilization to a more controlled, private, counsel-led course of action.
