भीमस्य जलान्वेषणं तथा वनविश्रान्तिः
Bhīma’s Search for Water and the Forest Halt
हयेषु विनियुक्तेषु विमुखो5भवदाहवे । स सत्यजितमालोक्य तथा विमुखमाहवे
hayesu viniyukteṣu vimukho 'bhavad āhave | sa satyajitam ālokya tathā vimukham āhave ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。馬が討たれて用をなさなくなると、彼は戦場で背を向けた。サティヤジトがそのように退き—弓を奪われ、馬を失うことを重ね—ついに陣を逃れたのを見て、パンチャーラ王ドルパダは、パーンドゥの子アルジュナに向けて迅速な矢の斉射を浴びせ始めた。そこで勝利の英雄の第一たるアルジュナは、王と激烈な戦いに入った。
