कुरूणामनयाच्चापि पृथिवी न भविष्यति । गच्छ त्वं योगमास्थाय युक्ता वस तपोवने
Vaiśampāyana uvāca |
Kurūṇām anayāc cāpi pṛthivī na bhaviṣyati |
Gaccha tvaṁ yogam āsthāya yuktā vasa tapovane ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「クル族の不義ゆえに、大地はもはやあるべき姿を保てぬ—まことに勇士は尽き、地は空しくなるであろう。ゆえに、ヨーガを依りどころとしてここを去り、戒めを守り堅固に、苦行の森に住め。」
