इति श्रीमहाभारते आदिपर्वणि सम्भवपर्वणि भीमसेनरसपाने सप्तविंशत्यधिकशततमो< ध्याय:
iti śrīmahābhārate ādiparvaṇi sambhavaparvaṇi bhīmasenarasapāne saptaviṃśatyadhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ |
かくして『聖なるマハーバーラタ』のアーディ・パルヴァ、そのサンバヴァ篇において、ビーマセーナが強烈なる精髄を飲み干したことを語る第百二十七章は終わる。この結語は一つの物語単位の完結を示し、同時にその道義的重み—驕りのためではなく、正しき護りのために用いられる力—が、これより展開する系譜と抗争の中へと受け継がれてゆくことを告げる。
