केषांचिदभवद् भ्राता केषांचिदभवत् सखा । ऋषयपस्त्वपरे चैनं पुत्रवत् पर्यपालयन्
keṣāṁcid abhavad bhrātā keṣāṁcid abhavat sakhā | ṛṣayas tv apare cainaṁ putravat paryapālayan ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。「ある者にとって彼は兄弟となり、ある者にとっては友となった。だが他の聖仙たちは彼を我が子のように慈しみ、絶えず守護したのである。」
