न सीदेतामदुःखाहें मा गमो भरतर्षभ । “इस मार्गपर केवल वायु चल सकती है तथा सिद्ध महर्षि भी जा सकते हैं। इस पर्वतराजपर चलती हुई ये दोनों राजकुमारियाँ कैसे कष्ट न पायेंगी? भरतवंशशिरोमणे! ये दोनों रानियाँ दुःख सहन करनेके योग्य नहीं हैं; अतः आप न चलिये'
na sīdetām aduḥkhāhe mā gamo bharatarṣabha
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。「苦難に慣れぬこの二人を、嘆きに沈ませてはならぬ。進むな、バーラタ族の雄牛よ。この道は風のみが通い、成就した大聖でさえようやく越え得る。どうしてこの二人の王女が、山々の王たるこの峰を歩いて苦しまずにいられようか。バーラタの家の冠玉よ、この二人の王妃はそのような痛苦に耐える器ではない。ゆえに、先へは進むな。」
