अध्याय ९६: शरभ-प्रादुर्भावः, नृसिंह-दर्पशमनम्, विष्णोः शिवस्तुतिः, फलश्रुति
निद्रापरवशः शेषे स कथं सात्त्विको भवान् त्वदादिस्तम्बपर्यन्तं रुद्रशक्तिविजृम्भितम्
nidrāparavaśaḥ śeṣe sa kathaṃ sāttviko bhavān tvadādistambaparyantaṃ rudraśaktivijṛmbhitam
もし汝がシェーシャ(Śeṣa)の上に、眠りの支配に屈して無力に横たわるなら、どうして自らを純粋なサットヴァ(sāttvika)と言えようか。汝より宇宙の柱(stambha)に至るまで、すべてはルドラのシャクティ(Rudra-Śakti)の大いなる展開にほかならぬ。
