大いなる聖河においては長寿を得る—二ラクシャに及ぶともいう。また供物として、ドゥールヴァ草の芽、胡麻、ヴァーニー(言葉/サラスヴァティー)、グドゥーチー、グフティカー(ghuṭikā)などがあり、いずれもシヴァへの奉愛(Śiva-bhakti)をもって捧げれば吉祥を助ける。
