व्यपोहनस्तवनिरूपण-प्रसङ्गे नक्तभोजन-शिवव्रतविधिः (वार्षिक-प्रतिमास-क्रमः)

दद्याद्गोमिथुनं गौरं वारुणं लोकमाप्नुयात् श्रावणे च द्विजा मासे कृत्वा वै नक्तभोजनम्

dadyādgomithunaṃ gauraṃ vāruṇaṃ lokamāpnuyāt śrāvaṇe ca dvijā māse kṛtvā vai naktabhojanam

淡い白色のガウラ種の牝牛を一対施す者は、ヴァルナの世界に至る。さらにシュラーヴァナ月に、ああ二度生まれし者よ、夜のみ食する戒(ナクタボージャナ)を修すれば、その功徳を得て、束縛された魂パシュを清め、主宰パティたるシヴァへと向ける。
