Adhyaya 73 — त्रिपुरदाहे ब्रह्मस्तवः
Brahmā’s Hymn in the Context of Tripura’s Burning
पूजनीयः शिवो नित्यं श्रद्धया देवपुङ्गवैः सर्वलिङ्गमयो लोकः सर्वं लिङ्गे प्रतिष्ठितम्
pūjanīyaḥ śivo nityaṃ śraddhayā devapuṅgavaiḥ sarvaliṅgamayo lokaḥ sarvaṃ liṅge pratiṣṭhitam
至高の神々すら、信をもって常にシヴァを礼拝すべきである。全世界はリンガに遍満し、万有はリンガに安立している。
Suta Goswami (narrating the Linga Purana teaching to the sages of Naimisharanya)
It declares the Linga as the universal ground of the cosmos and therefore makes daily, faith-filled Shiva-Linga worship the highest duty—even for the Devas.
Shiva is presented as Pati, the ever-worshipful Lord whose Linga is both transcendent sign and immanent support, in which all worlds and beings are established.
The verse foregrounds nitya-pūjā (daily worship) performed with śraddhā; as a Pāśupata-aligned takeaway, devotion and steady contemplative focus on the Linga are emphasized as the basis for loosening pāśa (bondage) for the paśu (soul).
