Adhyaya 72 — Puradāha: Rudra’s Cosmic Chariot, Pāśupata-Vrata, and Brahmā’s Shiva-Stuti
śubhāvatī tadā devī pārśvasaṃsthā vibhāti sā cāmarāsaktahastāgrā sā hemāṃbujavarṇikā
Suta Goswami
It depicts royal upacāra (honorific service) around the divine presence—like the cāmara—signaling how devotees should approach the Linga with reverence, auspiciousness, and ordered worship.
By highlighting the Goddess’ radiance beside the Lord, it points to Shiva-tattva as inseparable from Śakti—Pati revealed through the luminous power that makes His presence manifest and worship-worthy.
A puja-vidhi element is implied: cāmara-sevā and attendant service as part of ārādhana, reinforcing disciplined devotional conduct that supports Pāśupata-oriented purity and attentiveness.
