Adhyaya 71: पुरत्रयवृत्तान्तः—ब्रह्मवरदानम्, मयकृतत्रिपुर-निर्माणम्, विष्णुमाया-धर्मविघ्नः, शिवस्तुति, त्रिपुरदाहोपक्रमः

रुद्राय रुद्रपतये रौद्रपापहराय ते नमः शिवाय सौम्याय रुद्रभक्ताय ते नमः

rudrāya rudrapataye raudrapāpaharāya te namaḥ śivāya saumyāya rudrabhaktāya te namaḥ

ルドラとしての御身、ルドラたちの主、恐るべき罪を滅し給う御方に礼拝。シヴァとしての御身、吉祥にして柔和なる御方、ルドラへの帰依を具える御方に礼拝——パティとして、縛られた魂パシュ(paśu)を束縛パーシャ(pāśa)より解き放ち給う。
