शशबिन्दुस् तु वै राजा अन्वयाद् व्रतम् उत्तमम् चक्रवर्ती महासत्त्वो महावीर्यो बहुप्रजाः
śaśabindus tu vai rājā anvayād vratam uttamam cakravartī mahāsattvo mahāvīryo bahuprajāḥ
まことにシャシャビンドゥ王は、断絶なき継承のうちに最上の誓戒(ヴラタ)を守り立てた。転輪王(チャクラヴァルティン)として大いなる心と武勇を備え、子孫も多かった—主宰パティ(シヴァ)に仕えるため、ダルマにかなう節度ある王道の模範である。
