अरुन्धतीं महाभागां कल्याणीं देवतोपमाम् मातरं पितरं चोभौ नमस्कुरु महामते
arundhatīṃ mahābhāgāṃ kalyāṇīṃ devatopamām mātaraṃ pitaraṃ cobhau namaskuru mahāmate
大いなる知者よ、至福に満ち、吉祥にして神々にも比せられるアルンダティーに恭しく礼拝し、また汝の母と父、その両者にも敬礼せよ。

It establishes that Shiva-puja is grounded in dharma: humility and reverence to the virtuous (like Arundhatī) and to one’s parents purify the pashu (individual soul) and make worship fit to bear fruit.
Indirectly: Shiva as Pati is approached through inner purification. By bowing down and reducing ahamkāra (ego), the pashu becomes receptive to Shiva’s grace that cuts pasha (bondage).
Namaskāra (obeisance) and vandanā (reverential honoring) as a preparatory discipline—an ethical-yogic foundation that supports effective mantra, puja, and Pāśupata-oriented self-restraint.
