主は猛き威力をもつアイラーヴァタ(Airāvata)なる象王を、方位の象たちの統べる者として任じ、またスパルナ(Suparṇa、ガルダ Garuḍa)を鳥類の王とし、さらにウッチャイヒシュラヴァス(Uccaiḥśravas)を馬の王として定めた。かくして主宰者(Pati)は御命令により創造の中に位と力を配し、業と宇宙の法(pāśa)の絆によって衆生(paśu)を定められた務めへと結びつける。
