प्राणा वै जगतामापो भूतानि भुवनानि च बहुनात्र किमुक्तेन चराचरमिदं जगत्

Transliteration

prāṇā vai jagatāmāpo bhūtāni bhuvanāni ca bahunātra kimuktena carācaramidaṃ jagat

Translation

まことに、プラーナ（生命の息）は諸世界の支えである——水も、衆生も、あらゆる界も。これ以上何を語ろうか。この宇宙の一切、動くものも動かぬものも、そのプラーナによって保たれ、究竟にはパティ（主宰）たるシヴァ、生命を内より統べる主に依存する。
