मत्कृतेन च वर्णेन संकल्पः कृष्ण उच्यते तत्राहं कालसंकाशः कालो लोकप्रकालकः

Transliteration

matkṛtena ca varṇena saṃkalpaḥ kṛṣṇa ucyate tatrāhaṃ kālasaṃkāśaḥ kālo lokaprakālakaḥ

Translation

わたしが発する音節と音声の形相によって、決定する意志は「クリシュナ（Kṛṣṇa）」と呼ばれる。そこにおいて、わたしは時のごとき相を現す。わたしこそ時（カーラ）そのものであり、諸世界を量り定め、前へと駆り立てる統御者である。
