भ्रातरोऽभाङ्क्त किं मह्यं भजाम पितरं तव । त्वां ममार्यास्तताभाङ्क्षुर्मा पुत्रक तदादृथा: ॥ २ ॥
bhrātaro ’bhāṅkta kiṁ mahyaṁ bhajāma pitaraṁ tava tvāṁ mamāryās tatābhāṅkṣur mā putraka tad ādṛthāḥ
ナーバーガは尋ねた。「兄弟よ、父の財産から私に何を分けたのか。」年長の兄たちは言った。「お前の取り分は父だ。」そこでナーバーガが父のもとへ行き、「父上、兄たちはあなたを私の取り分として与えました」と告げると、父は答えた。「我が子よ、彼らの欺きの言葉を頼るな。私はお前の所有物ではない。」
