The Rise of Soma-vaṁśa: Budha’s Birth and Purūravā–Urvaśī; The Origin of Karma-kāṇḍa in Tretā-yuga
sahasra-śirasaḥ puṁso nābhi-hrada-saroruhāt jātasyāsīt suto dhātur atriḥ pitṛ-samo guṇaiḥ
This verse states that Dhātā (Brahmā), the creator, was born from the lotus arising from the navel-lake of the thousand-headed Supreme Person.
Atri is described here as the son of Dhātā (Brahmā), and he is said to be equal to his father in good qualities.
By reflecting that even cosmic creators arise from the Supreme Lord, one cultivates humility, devotion, and a God-centered view of one’s duties.
