Parīkṣit’s Final Instruction
न तत्रात्मा स्वयंज्योतिर्यो व्यक्ताव्यक्तयो: पर: । आकाश इव चाधारो ध्रुवोऽनन्तोपमस्तत: ॥ ८ ॥
na tatrātmā svayaṁ-jyotir yo vyaktāvyaktayoḥ paraḥ ākāśa iva cādhāro dhruvo ’nantopamas tataḥ
魂（アートマン）は自ら光り、見える粗大身と見えない微細身の彼岸にある。虚空が変転する物質の背後に不変の基盤として在るように、魂は変わらぬ支えである。ゆえに魂は無限で、物質に比べ得ない。
