मत्कृते पितृपुत्राणां भ्रातृणां चापि विग्रह: । जायते ह्यसतां राज्ये ममताबद्धचेतसाम् ॥ ७ ॥

Transliteration

mat-kṛte pitṛ-putrāṇāṁ bhrātṝṇāṁ cāpi vigrahaḥ jāyate hy asatāṁ rājye mamatā-baddha-cetasām

Translation

我を征服せんとする欲により、物質に執する者は互いに争う。政権を所有せんとする我執に心が縛られ、父は子に逆らい、兄弟は兄弟と戦う。
