The Killing of Keśī and Vyomāsura; Nārada’s Prophetic Praise of Kṛṣṇa
samedhamānena sa kṛṣṇa-bāhunā niruddha-vāyuś caraṇāṁś ca vikṣipan prasvinna-gātraḥ parivṛtta-locanaḥ papāta laṇḍaṁ visṛjan kṣitau vyasuḥ
This verse describes Ariṣṭāsura being physically overpowered by Kṛṣṇa—his breath is restrained, he struggles, collapses, and dies—showing Kṛṣṇa’s decisive protection of Vraja.
The vivid details emphasize the demon’s complete defeat and loss of control when confronted by the Supreme Lord’s power, underscoring the certainty of divine protection and the futility of hostility toward Kṛṣṇa.
It teaches that arrogance and violence ultimately collapse, while taking shelter of Kṛṣṇa and dharma brings protection—so one should replace aggression with devotion, humility, and self-control.
