सवृन्दै: कदलीस्तम्भै: पूगपोतै: परिष्कृतम् । तरुपल्लवमालाभि: सर्वत: समलङ्कृतम् ॥ ३ ॥
savṛndaiḥ kadalī-stambhaiḥ pūga-potaiḥ pariṣkṛtam taru-pallava-mālābhiḥ sarvataḥ samalaṅkṛtam
辻々には果実と花の房を添えた芭蕉の柱と檳榔（びんろう）の枝が立てられ、若葉の花環が四方に掛けられて、都はどこも見目麗しく飾られていた。
