महीं सर्वां हृतां द‍ृष्ट्वा त्रिपदव्याजयाच्ञया । ऊचु: स्वभर्तुरसुरा दीक्षितस्यात्यमर्षिता: ॥ ९ ॥

Transliteration

mahīṁ sarvāṁ hṛtāṁ dṛṣṭvā tripada-vyāja-yācñayā ūcuḥ sva-bhartur asurā dīkṣitasyātyamarṣitāḥ

Translation

悪魔族の従者たちは、灌頂を受けて祭祀に堅く定まっていた主バリ大王が、「三歩の地を乞う」という口実のもとにヴァーマナデーヴァに一切の領土を奪われたのを見て、激しく憤り、次のように語った。
