याव॑ती द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी व॑रि॒म्णा याव॒दापः॑ सिष्य॒दुर्याव॑द॒ग्निः । तत॒स्त्वम॑सि॒ ज्याया॑न् वि॒श्वहा॑ म॒हांस्तस्मै॑ ते काम॒ नम॒ इत् कृ॑णोमि
yā́vatī dyā́vā-pṛthivī́ varímṇā yā́vad ā́paḥ siṣyadúr yā́vad agníḥ | tátas tvám asi jyā́yān viśváhā mahā́ṁs tásmai te kā́ma náma íd kṛṇomi
As vast as Heaven and Earth in their breadth, as far as the Waters flow, as far as Fire (extends)—therefore art thou ever greater, mighty: to thee, O Kāma, homage, even so, I render.
天と地がその広がりにおいていかに広大であるほどに、水が流れゆくところいかに遠いほどに、火が及ぶところいかに広いほどに—それゆえ汝は常にいよいよ大いにして力強い。ゆえに、カーマよ、我は汝に礼拝(ナマス)を捧げる。
