Sukta 23
यथा॑ ह॒व्यं वह॑सि जातवेदो॒ यथा॑ य॒ज्ञं क॒ल्पय॑सि प्रजा॒नन्। ए॒वा दे॒वेभ्यः॑ सुम॒तिं न॒ आ व॑ह॒ स नो॑ मुञ्च॒त्वंह॑सः
yáthā havyáṃ váhasi jātavedo yáthā yajñáṃ kalpáyasi prajā́nán | evā́ devébhyaḥ sumatíṃ na ā́ vaha sá no muñcatv áṃhasaḥ ||
As thou bearest the oblation, O Jātavedas, as thou, knowing, duly orderest the sacrifice—so, for the Gods, bring hither unto us good favour; and may he release us from anguish.
供物を運ぶがごとく、ジャータヴェーダス（Jātavedas）よ、また知りつつ祭儀を正しく整えるがごとく――そのように、神々のために、われらへ善き思し召しを運び来たれ。さらに、彼がわれらを苦悩・災厄から解き放たんことを。
