एमं भ॑ज॒ ग्रामे॒ अश्वे॑षु॒ गोषु॒ निष्टं भ॑ज॒ यो अ॒मित्रो॑ अ॒स्य। वर्ष्म॑ क्ष॒त्राणा॑म॒यम॑स्तु॒ राजेन्द्र॒ शत्रुं॑ रन्धय॒ सर्व॑म॒स्मै
enám bhaja grā́me áśveṣu góṣu níṣṭaṃ bhaja yó amítró asya | várṣma kṣatrā́ṇām ayám astu rā́jendra śátruṃ randhaya sárvam asmai ||
Allot to him in the village, among horses, among cows, the choicest portion; whoso is his foe—this man let him be the eminence of powers, O King. O Indra, subject the enemy, subject them all, unto him.
村において、馬の中において、牛の中において、彼に最上の取り分を配分せよ。彼の敵である者は誰であれ——この人(われが立てる者)を諸力の高みたらしめよ、王よ。インドラよ、敵を屈服させよ、ことごとく彼のもとに従わせよ。
