य॒माय॑ घृ॒तव॒त् पयो॒ राज्ञे॑ ह॒विर्जु॑होतन । स नो॑ जी॒वेष्वा य॑मेद् दी॒र्घमायुः॒ प्र जी॒वसे॑
yamā́ya ghṛtávát páyo rā́jñe havír juhotana | sá no jīvéṣv ā́ yamet dīrghám ā́yuḥ prá jīváse
For Yama, for the King, offer ye as oblation milk rich with ghee. May he, among us who live, apportion hither long life, that we may live on.
ヤマ、王なる者に、ギー(ghṛta)に富む乳(payaḥ)を供物として献じよ。願わくは彼が、生けるわれらの中にあって、ここに長き寿命を分け与え、われらがなお生き続けんことを。
