Chapter 338 — शृङ्गारादिरसनिरूपणम्

Exposition of the Rasas beginning with Śṛṅgāra

अनिबद्धप्रलापादिरुन्मादो मदनादिभिः तत्त्वज्ञानादिना चेतःकषायो परमः शमः

anibaddhapralāpādirunmādo madanādibhiḥ tattvajñānādinā cetaḥkaṣāyo paramaḥ śamaḥ

支離滅裂で抑制のない放言に始まる狂乱(unmāda)は、カーマ Kāma(欲望)などから生じる。だが最高の静慮(śama)とは、真実知(tattva-jñāna)および関連する修習によって心の垢を浄めることである。
