हृष्टं पुष्टं बलं मत्वा गृह्णीयाद्विपरीतकं मित्रमाक्रन्द आसारो यदा स्युर्दृढभक्तयः

hṛṣṭaṃ puṣṭaṃ balaṃ matvā gṛhṇīyādviparītakaṃ mitramākranda āsāro yadā syurdṛḍhabhaktayaḥ

同盟者の兵力が歓喜し、糧秣に富み、強固であると見定めたなら、次にその者に対して逆策(反対の方略)を講ずべきである。さらに、嘆願の叫びが起こり災厄が奔流のごとく迫るときは、自軍の随従が堅固に帰依し忠誠を保つ時機に行動せよ。
