FAQs

It gives a dūtikā-invocation combined with bīja/exclamation syllables (hrūṃ, kha kha, phaṭ) used for protective layering (puṭe puṭe) and for empowering/guarding a weapon (khaḍge).

Alongside dharma, polity, and other sciences, the Agni Purana preserves practical mantra-technology—protective rites, seed-syllables, and weapon-mantras—showing its wide coverage of ritual and applied spiritual disciplines.

As a protective (kavaca-like) mantra, it is intended to remove obstacles and repel harmful influences; performed with discipline and right intent, it is traditionally held to support purification, protection, and steadiness in sādhana.
